Updates [and backports] #1

Hey, I found this an awesome idea! And I want to use it in my resources pack, where I backport a lot of things, but I mostly can't do sounds, because of the limits of the sounds.json. This is a very cool mod, I don't want it to get abondened. We need more mods like this.
