Sort issues on Date Column #150

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. I have a date column in format YYYY-MM-DD and Flexigrid is not sorting it 
properly as it should.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Results should be sorted as per dates. Instead it is sorting the results in 
random sequence.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
V1.1 on Linux
