Did you tried latest version?
This bug should be fixed in 2.2.0 and later.

Just installed the beta from link, but the problem persists.
I checked on my Nexus 7, it has ebookdroid version 2.1.12 and everything is ok
including page 69.

Now that's really strange. I have installed 2.1.12, but it still doesn't work.
I checked back on the Nexus to be sure that it's really the same version, and
it is. But this time when opening the file from outside (not from library) I
was asked to install the decoder plugin. I'm not 100% sure, but I don't recall
installing it on nexus before. Why did it ask me to do so. The book did open
from the application library without installing this plugin.

Ebookdroid asking your confirmation to use open source plugin only once after
installation. After that it remembers your confirmation. After uninstall and
install again information about your confirmation is lost. That's why it asks
you again.

Let me explain it with more details. I'm not confused by the fact that the
plugins had to be installed on my phone when installing or reinstalling
ebookdroid. What happened is that the plugin prompt appeared on my tablet, on
which ebook droid has been installed 2 years ago and was not updated since
version 2.1.12. On this version the book worked without problems when it was
opened from ebookdroid's library. It looks like opening the same book from
outside of the library and from different location (effectively different file)
triggered the install decoder plugin action. Is it possible?

I think it can be possible but it is definetly a bug. I will check.
