[Actually a question] Microstepping setting #2

Hi Omuzychko, Thanks for your work. I have been trying to make this work with my NUCLEO-F446RE, but before making any tests, i would like to know what microstepping setting were you using to get those good results. I can guess maybe it's 1/32, but I'd like to make sure. Thanks again!

Well, it should work for any setting. Basically - the ratio of rotational inertia of your load and the motor torque define the minimum stepping time. More micro-steps means you can step more frequently to rotate the same mass on the same angle. Start testing with no load on motor axis - to be totally sure it rotates. If under the load it refuses to rotate - than you either reduce acceleration settings (to go slower), or increase motor current with the trimming potentiometer on the driver borad(s)
