It would make sense to upgrade to yarn berry and an up to date node version.
We can't really update react-scripts before we do this.
In the same vain we might decide to also migrate away from CRA + jest to vite + vitest.
However this will be a huge endeavor. But we have to do this, because as long as we don't our dependency upgrade paths are fairly limited.
