Compatibility issues of Steps APP with ODK Collect version v1.21.1 #123

STEP app can open the ODK and also able to fill it and save it, 
but when I tried to send data  through  STEP app, 
it says “Install ODK app before sending data”

This needs a long term and backwards compatible fix. An issue for discussion with the ODK Collect community is here https://github.com/opendatakit/collect/issues/3040

The STEPS app is currently working well with ODK Collect v1.28.0 which was the last version before the storage migration that was implemented in v1.29.0 onwards. In latter versions, users are unable to fill in a survey from the STEPS app. The error Something went wrong, please try again is thrown when a user tries to start the interview from the STEPS app while using the latest versions of ODK Collect.
