Add default support for static site export

Given that I have a quite simple site, basically and some projects, I want to avoid the overhead of needing to host a Node server in order to run this. Generating static assets would also enable other deployment options.

thanks for the suggestion @tskarhed, i think it's very much possible - we'll try to look into this for the next release as well :)
