Danke Uli, auch für den Hinweis mit react-use-local-storage. Hat mir das Leben sehr erleichtert!
The two states "likes" and "viewPoint" are now stored in local storage. The favorite list is therefore saved between sessions. Clicking the "home" button redirects the user now to the view he*she came from.
