Uninstall procedure? #14

Sorry for polluting the issues with questions.

What would be the best way to uninstall git? Just delete /usr/local/git ?

Will an upgrade take care of that, or will it end in tears?

Yes - upgrades just overwrite previous copies of git.

To uninstall, remove /usr/local/git, and remove /etc/paths.d/git and 
/etc/manpaths.d/git
