My university email address was the last name only. It didn't match GitHub's validation bot. I didn't know that. There was no warning or notification about this either. It was just in "Unconfirmed" status. It lasted for days. I applied for a long-name email for myself. I registered it to GitHub and passed validation. I solved it by trial-error behaviour. There were no instructions on this.
My student card, or ISIC card, is a bank card. I blurred the account number. After that, the robot announced that the image had been processed and was not accepted. Next, I taped the account number with electrical tape - such a picture was also unsuitable evidence. Ultimately, I could confirm through the webcam that I am a person and a student from Estonia.
