As I mentioned in the first homework, I am passionate about the thought that everything around us is information in different types. However, not all the information is always the truth and it may be dangerous. Since I am Ukrainian, I understand really well that fake information in some situations (e.g. during the war) may cost a lot of lives so it is important to have the mechanisms to separate truth from lie. My research question will be "How can domain knowledge-driven rules help mitigate the spread of misinformation on social media platforms?". I am planning to use the Fake News Challenge dataset (https://www.fakenewschallenge.org/) for it.
