Research question: "Can excessive schoolwork during high school restrict students' creative abilities?"
Throughout my upbringing, I observed notable variations in the creative abilities of my classmates, particularly those pursuing different fields such as science and accounting. What struck me was the stark contrast in the burden of homework and the expectations placed upon these students. One incident that particularly resonated with me was when we were asked to sign farewell notes. I couldn't help but notice how each group approached the task differently, with some displaying remarkable artistic flair while others seemed more constrained in their creativity. This experience prompted me to ponder the research question at hand: can excessive schoolwork indeed limit students' artistic skills? If the hypothesis put forth in this research question proves to be true, it would necessitate a reframing of our learning programs in schools, placing a higher emphasis on balancing homework tasks with fostering and nurturing creative abilities.
