tab width is completely broken #349

so I can't use 1.24.0 because the tab widths with multi-row function is completely broken.

I was using 1.23.0, but then I upgraded to Fx 132 and now dragging tabs is completely broken.

So I'm screwed, I just can't use Tab Mix Plus now. What am I supposed to do? I need fixed width tabs to work. that is, I set min width = max width and that means all tabs should be the same size, no variation, no nonsense about filling out empty rows or whatever. Just fixed width. why's is it so hard?

install the dev build: https://github.com/onemen/TabMixPlus/releases/tag/dev-build

I cannot do that. Right now I'm running Fx 131 and TMP 1.23. If I were to test a dev build I'd have to install Fx 132. If the dev build doesn't work, I'll need to downgrade back to Fx 131 to have a working system. Unfortunately, due to Firefox developers being idiots, downgrading Firefox is now a chore. It requires launching every profile with a special command line parameter, or else it will refuse to run. This includes the stupid maintenance service, which pops up a useless dialog about incompatible profile version every few hours. I'm not willing to go through all this hassle again. I'll wait for TMP with multi-row that is actually fixed and released.

You can use Tab mix dev-build with any version form 115 ESR to the latest Nightly.

you can always use remove the file compatibility.ini in the profile if you want to use the profile in an older version of Firefox

A dev build doesn't mean it's only for the dev version of firefox.
