My current efforts at pgtap integration can sometimes be a bit hacky. They work and are well supported on the Perl side, but they don't feel good or maintainable in some critical ways, and some diagnostic information gets lost.
I would like to build on efforts at a proper integration with our testing structure. This will likely take some more time and might not be done before 1.0. Nonetheless it should be on our radar.
