remove awaitForEx #230

Theoretical and statical code removal... didn't test it (had to decide to remove dcli instead for time issues)

started working on #229 but had to desist due to time issues :crying_cat_face:

The dcli 4.x alpha has waitfor largely removed but a few functions are not working as yet.

closing as these ideas have now been incorporated into 4.x.
