I wonder if (n)awk will re-license to MIT/BSD?

we are not planning to change the license in any way.

I think he asked (@roytam1) because of the recent change of plan9 license (to MIT). @plan9 Is there a reason to leave the same license as before?

this 97 copyright is already the "old style with legal disclaimer" MIT copyright. here is the plan9 copyright for comparison. I don't see anything that needs to change.
