Anonymize and gather data to identify risks by location #6

I currently live in Ontario and I have conceptualized an idea and been volunteering to do something similar like this but with an extra feature of being able to predict clusters of infection through gathering data of geolocated symptoms.

How it works When users answer any self-assessment tool, there should be a mechanism to gather data so we can use data to understand clusters of probable infection through geolocated symptoms. Let's say, what if there's cluster of coughs in the Yonge-Eglington area. Or a certain condominium in downtown Toronto. The data would be useful for assessing risks by location and help governments with targetted testing.

We are a team of volunteers who met through a hackathon. We think that self-assesment tools should gather anonymized data (responsibly) and we can use data science to fight this disease.

Has Ontario thought of having similar feature on your self-assessment app? It will be very useful.
