Determine new Netbuilder QA strategy #29

Open dwolt opened 7 years ago

dwolt commented 7 years ago

Based on what has transpired to date, we have discussed the need for ONgroup to do in advance the base QA, to verify the install and initial run of the product before it is delivered to the pilot site, in general.

Examples of the type of issues we could catch with this:

  1. Missing pieces in the delivery, for example, missing COMMON source code
  2. Missing instructions in the documentation for how to install and run, such as how to convert the CARS application
  3. Catching issues in converting from Universe to UniData earlier than finding them at the pilot site

Processes that will be caught at the pilot are those that are specific SB+ feature emulation capabilities. We will not be developing a new app to test those at this point.
