Hot letters were not working #36

This might be related to the overall issue of being unable to run things in the new PRC account but hot letters were not working.

From an email from Grant. The keyboard was a real problem , without the NAP statement to pause for 50ms or so and then check the buffer for multi character escape sequences was a pain. This was causing the hot keys and the enter keys not to work.
