ADVANTAGE conversion to MVON on SQL Server #14

Project to migrate ADVANTAGE application to SQL Server in mv data format. Met w Ian and Venkat on 12/6. Meeting went very well. Ian is stoked. Peter gave status on the conversion project. Ian was really pleased with what Peter, Donna and Perry have been able to accomplish so far so quickly. Ian wasn’t himself. He was giddy with excitement envisioning the total elimination of D3 by moving all of his 100+ customers who are on D3 over to SQL Server straightaway.

Update is that Peter is still waiting to get access to SQL Server on their system, so we still do not have access to the conversion server. Peter can log into MVON. Someone likely changed a pwd or login for starting SQL Server. It has happened before. It has been at least a week of not having access. Want to give Donna the opportunity to resolve it with Venkat without escalating. Next step, Peter send email with implied escalation by copying the 3 of us, asking if we can bump up the priority on getting you into the system. Peter will find out what days/hours Donna works. Chas and/or Dawn would like to have contact with Ian next week, would like to have a success under our belts.
