What version of BluezIME are you using?

Latest to the day

What Android device do you have? What Android version?

Xperia Play, R800i, 2.3.4, DoomKernel 14, Stock .62 FTF, Rooted with SuperSU 
binaries from Chainfire.

What <strike>gamepad</strike> Keyboard are you using?

Nokia SU-8W American Layout

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. not being able to use the Special keys.
2. the fact that the device "auto shuts down by non usability" but instead of 
10 minutes, in less than 1...

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

1. some way to Map the special keys like:
ESC, DELETE (as it works the same way of the backspace), Mail key, Left, Middle 
and Right Soft-keys, Menu Key.

2. some kind of ping function to keep the keyboard alive.

Please provide any additional information below.
if there's any way to help, like testing builds or even by remote access to my 
device or maybe sending the key-codes of those special keys, just tell me and i 
will do my best.

The newer 4.x Android has built-in BT keyboard support.

I am not working on fixing these issues, because most people will be using 4.x 
devices soon, making the keyboard driver (and to some extent Bluez-IME) 
obsolete.

yes but not everyone has android 4.x, and i say more, don't you realize that 
people will be amazed if even on 4.x you be able to map Keys from a keyboard ?
