While the name of the app is clean, it's not that googleable nor perhaps "publicly viable".
I'd think it would be a good effort, socially responsible, to get people of the FB bandwagon, in order to reduce centralized intelligence gathering on public opinion and change there of, in response to societal events. The importance of an app such as this is not then, so much keeping secrets, as keeping the collective freedom. Which makes it important for "everyone" to "be in" on the good foot.
This long rant was just about:
perhaps rename to "mybook", "ourbook" or something viably cheezy like that?
perhaps complemented with "blackbook". The exact same app, but separate conf for identity and separate tor-route, and dark bg's (for clear visual feedback on which you're in). This way it's easy for those in highly compromised societies to have a public profile, and one "underground profile" for journalistic / freedom movement / whatever communications with minimum risk of slipping and posting compromising intell in the wrong context. (Ie friends can be enemies if they're pressured to turn you in).
