Multiple cursors slows down oni to a crawl #2656

Oni Version: v0.3.7-beta3 Neovim Version (Linux only): v0.3.1 Operating System: Manjaro Linux

Using vim-multiple-cursors slows down the editor to a crawl while typing. I use the webgl renderer.

Update: I tried to reproduce the issue on another workstation. It looks like the performance is much better on this one (could be an issue with the hardware acceleration), but, it gets significantly slower the more cursors you use.
