Publish the site on Gemini / Gopher #7

There are two kinds of posts in the source RSS feed:

  1. I shared a link with some notes.
  2. I directly published an existing article.

The second type of posts are a minority. But they are a nightmare when it comes to converting to Gemtext. I am going to slowly unpublish all type 2 posts and may republish some of them as type 1. It would make creating the Gemini version of the site much easier.

While I agree that the original feed is needlessly messy, unpublishing perfectly valid articles seems like overkill. You can at the very least just skip them when producing the Gemini site for the time being and that won't "burn any books". Then maybe you can add support back in later.

I don't want to support it later. Also, skipping those requires extra work! I can't think of an easy filter that won't potentially filter out a type 1 post in the future. Unpublishing seems to be the easiest way. And I am not completely getting rid of them. They are being republished as type 1, if I feel they are still of interest. The dates will be different though, but that doesn't matter to me.
