No need to be sad anymore #989

Closed marcusnaslund closed 8 years ago

marcusnaslund commented 8 years ago

Based on changes in https://github.com/magic-lang/ooc-kean/pull/1618/files#r58666920

This seems like a workaround for an older version of rock and is no longer needed.

Hm, this failed on

make -s rescue

Could not find latest bootstrap-only. Can you reach api.github.com ?

What if you close and re-open this PR? That's fixed weird issues for me before.

vendethiel commented 8 years ago

could be a spurious travis failure?

marcusnaslund commented 8 years ago

Closed and reopened the PR, but got the same error. Ironically, this PR is making me sad.

How is the magic-lang fork dealing with bootstrap downloads ?

marcusnaslund commented 8 years ago

@thomasfanell @fredrikbryntesson ?

thomasfanell commented 8 years ago

Works like a charm here.

fasterthanlime commented 8 years ago

Works like a charm here.

Well that wasn't really my question — is it using the same script to download them? Where do you host your bootstraps? or are you just using ooc-lang/rock bootstraps? etc. I could look it up but.. time :(

thomasfanell commented 8 years ago

We are using the ooc-lang bootstraps.

marcusnaslund commented 8 years ago

Closed and opened again, and now it works. Travis must have had a bad day yesterday.
