This is relevant if at some point there's going to be a new One True Tree of sedutil for all users.

CVE has a feature to change keymap to fr_FR. The sedutil/sedutil forked tree has other non-US keymap changes. Archlinux apparently has scripts to rebuild the PBA using whatever keymap is in-place on the build host.

Some set of these or similar changes are worth including in any new One True Tree.
