User Story: I as a OONI user want to have an option (to)/blocklist wifi names that I do not want the automatic tests to run, because this may be my home wifi or wifis I usually visit, which I know are with few blocks.
The background is simple: In my case when I am at home OONI automatic tests mostly run at night in my wifi (particularly with the default options). I have the feeling this is not really helpful, as at least where I live (Germany) there is not much internet censorship and even if there would be, scanning the same network connection/wifi/provider (etc.) will likely not result in very different results and just seems unnecessary. Also my home wifi has no router doing DNS blocking e.g.
As such, I much more would like to scan everything else, including hotel wifis, public wifis or wherever I may be. These often have DNS blocking deployed or other MITM devices, which block some sites they deem are not "safe" etc. Scanning these may be much more helpful. I think…
Solution
either let me manually enter wifi names to exclude
or let me select from recently connected or maybe just the currently connected wifis to exclude (like ”Do not scan currently connected wifi “$wifiName”.”).
