Castlevania Dawn Of Sorrow white screen. #44

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Load the game.
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
r185. Wii

Please provide any additional information below.

The game would start up and play on r184, even though painfully slow to the
point of unplayable. Now when it is loaded it stays a white screen as soon as
its loaded. I'm not sure if its changes that have been made or just from
reworking the desmume 0.9.6 or whatver it was (the new one) into the wii. If
this issue is irrelevant then sorry for posting it.

 Yes, too slow to play....

 Only load these rom(s):

- Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift;
- Bomberman DS;
- Polarium.

 Don´t load these:

- Final Fantasy XII - Revenant Wings;
- Advance Wars - Dual Strike;
- Avatar - The Last Airbender.

lonely_blackwolf:
I could actually never get Dawn of Sorrow to work beyond a white screen in any
previous builds. I plan to personally optimize the emulator to play this ROM
down the line as it one of my very favorites ;-)

Your comment is completely useless and irrelevant.

LOL. The castlevania series is my fav game too. I'm waiting for the day for
this to work on the Wii. Thanks.

Actually that game did work in r184 ... although very slow. You might try
deleting the save .dsv from the SD card and trying again. The save format was
modified in 0.9.6.
