Release 0.6 #131

Release 0.6 will be the first release using the new build infrastructure from Travis CI and include mostly cleanup and refactoring. The release has to be done as a four step process

  1. [ ] Implement all outstanding issues marked with Release 0.6
  2. [ ] Create branch 0.6-stable and include the source of all external modules (squashed)
  3. [ ] Build 0.6-rc and verify, asking distribution maintainers for approval
  4. [ ] Tag and release violetland 0.6
