It was a The Twitter REST API v1 is no longer active. Please migrate to API v1.1 issue. Solved by using the new version of this strategy.

You should update the Opauth bundled with examples package (http://opauth.org/file.php?name=Opauth-bundled-example.zip) with the new version of this strategy
