Ubuntu 18.04 Install Error #27

System information: Ubuntu 18.04 LTS, Python 2.7 in a virtual environment.

I am running into errors when trying to install ProbCog. Errors begin when I start to compile with Maven. The first error I had was:

$ mvn compile

I then added a line specifying the exec-maven-plugin version to the pom.xml to get around the issue. The previous error no longer shows; however, a new error now shows which was a warning previously regarding java.security.InvalidAlgorithmParameterException. The following is the new compiling error output:

I have not found an existing issue or online resources to deal with this problem and I am not too familiar with compiling via Maven, so some help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Solution could be found here. The error seems to stem from very specific issues with java and a cacerts file that is incorrect. After following the process of manually downloading the correct cacerts file and copying it into /etc/ssl/certs/java, the compile worked.
