Topics covered in class on Tuesday (2/19) #105

I was out of town this week and couldn't make it to class last Tuesday (2/19). Was there anything covered in class other than the Bock paper? Any other readings/topic searches I can do catch up?

Also some discussion on different penalty functions/criterion for figuring out bias/variance tradeoff for model selection, e.g., MDL (Min Decision Length), BIC (Bayesian Info Criterion), and AIC (Akaike Info Criterion.
