Question: Bio for Math People #2

What biology/neuroscience topics would be good to know for this class, given that I haven't taken a biology class since high school?

Basic structure of the nervous system (axons dendrites synapses etc.) will be pretty essential I think, beyond that I think you should be ok picking up neuroscience knowledge from papers and things as we go :)
