Explore mapping of Spanish Public Procurement Ontology and OCDS #206

Closed timgdavies closed 8 years ago

timgdavies commented 9 years ago

Spanish Local Govt are encouraged to publish procurement information using this ontology (http://contsem.unizar.es/def/sector-publico/pproc.html)

We should look at how it can map to OCDS, and whether there is potential for alignment, or for OCDS templates to be a tool for generating data in Spain according to the ontology.

Key questions:

Closing as no activity in the last year.

May be related to #190 for any future ontology work.

Hello @timgdavies . We are Software Engeeniering students(with @camilobaezcamba ) of @juanpane. We are working in an ontology for OCDS based in the PPROC Ontology, and other experiences like PC, LOTED and LOTED2. We have already made a research of the state of art, and now we are working with the conceptualization of the domain of OC.

We will be glad if you can give us a hand with the work. Our plan is to finish at least the core of the work before the end of the year.

Hello @yank07, I work with @timgdavies on the OCDS helpdesk and am happy to have a chat about your work. You can email us at data@open-contracting.org to arrange a call.

All the best,

Edafe

This also relates to the ontology work being led by the TED publication office, the work in Paraguay, the work in France, and the recent OCDS community call that was held. Maybe a reframing of the issue with the recent updates?

Just noticed this is picked up in #190. Maybe close?

Agreed. Closing.
