Here at the City of Asheville, we're using this as a starting point for building not just the open dataset for permits, but our internal "canonical representation" as well. Obviously we'll have fields that fall outside the standard, but a couple that strike me as generally relevant are applicant (who may be a contractor or may be the owner) and owner(s).
Do these make sense as at least optional fields in the standard?
