set due dates after sharing assets
norming in the beginning should happen with clients, you should get their preferred method of communication
understanding the client's organizational structure
be clear about consequences. I am blocked, I can't move forward. You're wasting your money if I'm blocked.

Also... I did that thing where I had assumptions and didn't put the obvious stuff. Like having kick off meetings.

@brianloveswords we did a neat matrix exercise for estimation recently - the one that @tafsiri taught us. Do we have reference link for that?
