Figure we run a couple tests, identify any pain points, make some notes on potential improvements, etc. in a comment below, then spin that off into individual issues and close this out.

Here's the plan.

I got some baseline times that I'm going to work against for each page.

I'm going to do the following:

implement a critical css pattern for jekyll
make sure the process icons are as optimized as they can be (they are probably fine)
async load the font
css audit for things we aren't using (maybe make this part of the compiling process??)
server-side caching for github pages... ( is that a thing I can do... ?)
