They seem to work fine for me, given the steps you've provided.

I tested it again.
So it takes very long to load the emulator or a game (especially in vba; also
very
irregularly).
Here you will see no loading screen (you have a lighted screen just some secs
later
you have the normal loading bar).
After that you can load freezes/snapshots without any problem.
Sometimes (and this was the case which I mentioned above) the emulator loads
fast,
but then you cannot load any snapshots.
It just jumps back to the game.
I also tried to format my SDCard. But same issue without any changes.

Another issue concerning Savestates.
If you go to the Load Menu (with classic controller), you will reach the "inner
menu"
first.
In this "inner menu" the snapshot or sram file is marked but you cannot select
it.
you have to push B to change to the "outer menu" (where you have the option to
close
the whole menu) and than you have to push B again (to go back to the inner
menu).
Then you can select the savestate in the "inner menu".

Ok I've fixed your second issue with being unable to select a save state upon
first
reaching the menu. But I'm not sure about your original complain that "nothing
happens". Is that the same bug?

I don't think so.
I believe it could be in relation with to the menu bug (which was caused by the
music), but I'm not sure.

As I said. If you choose a game (with savestate or snapshot) the emulator have
to
load very long. But sometimes it's loading fast (rather normal) in exchange
whithout
snapshot/savestate ability. The Emu is also loading normal if you choose a game
without snapshot or savestate.
Very confusing.

I tried this edition.
Got some bugs/issues.

For example. If I make a savestate in Castlevania II: Simons Quest the
savestate will
appear in Castlevania I after reboot of the emulator (and disappear in
Castlevania II).
I have to test a little bit more and then I will report. =)

So, the problem still exist.

FCEU needs a bit longer to boot.
I have still long loading times if I choose a Game with a savestate.
Sometimes the emualtor loads a "savestated" Game normal without issue.
But this is rarely.
Games without savestate loads normal.

You already said that you fixed the cursor problem for savestates which is very
great. ^^

The next issue is doubled/mixed game states.
I mentioned the problem above.
I made a savestate for castlevania II and this state is appearing in
Castlevania I.
If I choose this state (in CV I) I will get a error message.

I uploaded my savestates and setting file. So you can test it by your own. ^^

Ok, I've made some improvements that should fix the doubled/mixed game states
issue.
As for the long loading time, I don't have this issue. Run a chkdsk on the SD
card
or reformat it.

Got it. ^^
Tested the beta again and u are right.
No loading time.
But this is strange, cause I got one the first time I started this edition.
Maybe the reason was the changing in the file structure.
I deleted some states for the test.

Anyway it's working and this is fantastic.
