@dingsing2021 @Lixming - for overseas EMUI devices, is there a plan to have the model similar to Google Play Services for AR (AR Core) to help users to experience AR/VR?
Scenario:
User installs a WebXR browser via AG (on supported models like overseas versions of the models supported in China, including P30 Pro, P40 Pro, Mate 40 etc.)
As overseas device market do not have VR Engine/VR SDK as part of the file system the user will be prompted when launching the browser for the first time to download the VR Engine from AG. This is the AR Core experience -- where an AR app launch and requests AR Core download (if not available in the system). Once downloaded, Play Store Auto Update on WiFi will keep AR Core updated.
Note: WebXR experience for overseas market has to be limited to 3DoF because 6DoF tracking is not supported under Magic UI/EMUI. However, we think that should be acceptable now.
The main goal of this feature request is that there must be a working path for overseas developer to publish AR/VR app and users can easily experience it.
