7 years ago This looks great! Thanks! The only thing I would change is just your description above--instead of "quick first round," could you edit it to be more descriptive of your contribution? It'd be really good if you could briefly discuss your experience of geocoding and/or of reading places in Portrait. Apart from that, everything looks great.

The description should still be editable, I think.
Started geocoding the opening paragraphs of chapter 2. GPS coordinates for the locations stated in the text were found through google maps. For a couple places, accuracy was an issue given that Dublin has changed quite a bit after 100 years. Also, there were geographical locations, like Dublin, that were impossible to pinpoint. I tried to focus on a part of the location that felt central enough to provide at least a sense of accuracy. It was also interesting to note distance, and how it expands and contracts throughout the narration.
