I copied it over and unmasked it for now.
Curious, there are currently no better-maintained xsd
alternatives on the radar?
I guess dev-libs/xml-security-c is going too.
# Unmaintained. No reverse dependencies.
# Removal in 30 days. Bug #694238.
this "unmaintained" claim seems strange as last release and portage version bump wast just last december.
ah, I think he means no package maintainer
dev-cpp/libxsd-frontend
has also been masked and is getting dropped on August 26.
added in libxsd-frontend. with super-tiny fix to make it compile with GCC 11. GCC 11 defaults to c++17, I just added a -std=g++14
flag in.
dev-cpp/libcutl
and dev-util/build
too now.
dev-libs/xalan-c now is also masked now and is being last-rited: https://bugs.gentoo.org/734190

xalan-c got a maintainer and a version bump today and is back in ::gentoo
, no action needed.
From package.mask:
(bug 640860) I really doubt this is going to get upstream to use some other library, so should this package be added to this overlay?
