ONI datasheet for FMC Digital IO Device has details on data format and control registers.

Buffering input data, assuming whatever rate coming from the DIO
- in the future we might consider max rate of 1 MHz at firmware level
- don't buffer and just return values as fast as possible (we will do this)
Output Mat type vs bool[] vs Enum
Consider data type conversions for output sink

@jonnew I noticed the old ONIX package has a dynamic "acquisition" property for the DIO device which is setting the LED brightness. Is this something we really want to be able to control real-time, or is it okay to leave it as configuration only?

For this release we will remove this from the configuration.
