I oversized the space where the gears go in case we want to change those (changing tooth pitch changes tooth depth) for laser cut gears where fine details can cause heat buildup and subsequent warping/burring/etc..
I want to add more ribs to the walls that enclose the teensy, but I'm not sure where I can add ribs that won't interfere with internal electronics.
This prototype allows to test four ways to mount the elastic thread:
1) (approximately) Jakob's hook
2) Larger hook
3) Alligator clamp
4) Spring-loaded-washer-against-screw-head clamp
