@aacuevas any advice on this?
Hi @mcjpedro, unfortunately that bitfile is not compatible with the XEM7310. The 7310 uses a different FPGA (Artix-7) from the 6310 (Spartan-6), and to re-compile it for the Artix-7 would require substantial changes to the underlying firmware.
Out of curiosity, who recommended buying the XEM7310? Currently, we only have bitfiles available for the XEM6310 (USB 3.0) and the XEM6010 (USB 2.0) boards from Opal Kelly.
Given the end-of-life status of the XEM6310, we are working on an open-source replacement that will power future acquisition boards. We expect these to be available for purchase through the Open Ephys web store by October.
Hi all, are there any updates on this?
Acquisition boards with custom FPGAs have now started shipping, but we already sold out of the first 100x units. We expect to have more available in March.
The info on the Open Ephys store is now up to date: https://open-ephys.org/acquisition-system/acquisition-board
I recently bought, as recommended, the XEM7310 as the XEM6310 will be discontinued soon. However, when running the rhd2000 bitfile the following error persists when trying to configure the FPGA: "FPGA configuration failed: done did note go high". Looking through several search channels, I couldn't find anywhere specific installation documentation or possible errors, especially when it comes to the XEM7310.
