Hi GitOps WG Team,

I am organizing KCD Brasil 2021 that will occur on Aug 13, 2021. The interest in GitOps is growing a lot in the Brasilian community and I desire to run a co-located event :

GitOps Community Day Brasil 2021 hosted by CNCF Community Brasil Date: Thursday, Aug 12 Time: 10:30 – 18:00 (BRT) Location: Virtual

The WG allows us to create this event?

Sounds awesome, how can we help? We don't have formal guidelines for these events yet but in general we want to make sure they're end user focused and have open representation for the various OSS projects.

If you need help with talk selection we can do that. I think we should also use CNCF talk submission tooling.

@pasimoes I don't see any reason why you can't hold this event and I think we can help promote it. @scottrigby @murillodigital any objections?

The event that I am proposing is exactly what you want, End-User - Driven with all OSS projects from CNCF/CD Foundation.

With the approval of the WG, I will create a draft of the "guidelines" and submit for your review and improvement.

And, sure, We will need help.
