• Detailed explanation of each part of the standard
  • Physical: RJ-45, shielded if possible. User and Radio sides.
  • Mic: how to convert from type to type, preserving balance when possible, etc.
  • Headphones: address mono vs stereo
  • Power: range of acceptable power, preferred power, labeling requirements.
  • PTT

Early WIP version is published. I'm working on getting reviews done, from volunteers, and from a paid tech writer.

• Define the OHIS logo. Make it required on OHIS ports, and not-allowed on non-OHIS ports, to remove confusion on where things can be connected.
