What does NVQ Level 3+ stand for / what is interesting about this from OIs point of view?

• NVQ stands for national vocational qualification.
• The NVQ is a work-based qualification that recognises the skills and knowledge a person needs to do a job. The candidate needs to demonstrate and prove their competency in their chosen role or career path. You can read more here
• NVQ Level 3 is equivalent to A-Level. So level 3+ is those with equivalent to A-Levels and above (e.g. degrees, master's, PhDs, advanced apprenticeships etc.).

I think it's interesting because it captures the amount of people who have skills to go to work at a nationally recognised standard. It is a more diverse representation of education / skills attainment than purely academic / exam-based qualifications alone.

@ChristianSpence would be good to have your thoughts on this too to build a narrative.
