I suggested they make a basic excel sheet with the following column titles:

company_name, article_link, date_published (yyyy-mm-dd)

For geographic reach, we could look at local authority level. E.g. “Local Authorities in the North containing at least one True North organisation: X %”.

This would be a proxy for coverage across the North of England at a slightly smaller than city level. I suggest LA level because, if we pick regions, we will get 100% coverage (there are only 3 in the North), and if we pick lower than LA, we will probably get quite a small coverage, both of which feel inaccurate. You could also track this over time to show how the True North network is growing.

There are some caveats because we’d be using the registered address rather than where they necessarily operate. We can mention this on the site, though.
