Current vs old courses on "My course" page #187

When on the "my courses" page, there is nothing obvious to point out that clicking on the 2020 button (for example) at the top, is only going to show the 2020 courses that have end dates that have finished (for us at the moment that is 2020 semester 1). Is there a way of making this so that when students and teachers click on a year, it shows all courses from that year, not just the ones that have ended. It's not very clear to users and we have had a few clicking on 2020 but not seeing their courses as they are current.

Or, is there a way of getting these buttons so that they show courses that are in a specific category, as we organise our courses into a different category per semester.

I like your idea of having those tabs point to specific categories (perhaps as an option that can be enabled?) We don't tend to 'end' our courses each year, so the tabs are largely irrelevant for our students.

Being able to assign those tabs to individual course categories would be very useful to us though, e.g. have an 'induction' category, or a 'support' category for non-academic courses, accessible through those tabs.
