Adding new KPI categories on top of the ones currently supported in OpenMetadata #17018

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. I need to evaluate far more KPIs than the two categories already built-in in OpenMetadata. This is essential for some use cases like in the Healthcare domain where data quality is paramount.

Describe the solution you'd like The ideal solution would be a capability to add new KPIs using a declarative approach.

Describe alternatives you've considered I do not see alternative unless using an external solution that could be integrated with Open Metadata but it would far from ideal.

Currently KPI support in Openmetadata is just a namesake. Are there plans to add more KPIs like frequency of updates in a given timeframe for a data product, asset or domain and Count of updates by user/role/group to any entity or better to have the option to create a custom KPI based on declarative definition. Request to prioritize this request and mark for upcoming version. Thank you !!
